Keep focus on your goals when you hit the obstacles, and don’t focus too much on the obstacles.
You have to remember that whatever you do, obstacles will always come up. You may think, that would be fun, easy or smooth to do, but when the obstacles appear, you can only see them, and forget about your goals.
If the obstacles are easy to get over or there are just one or two, that is not too bad, but usually they will come one after another just like an obstacle race.
When that happens, you may feel that its too hard or you have no time for that, then your motivation goes down, and you start finding excuses not to do it, and then give up on your goals.
There are no goals without obstacles.
Your journey won’t be a straight way, there could be a lot of sharp curves, and sometimes u-turns, and the obstacles are just processing points you have to get over.
For Martial Arts training, obstacles could be injuries, not winning competitions or too busy or your lazy mind. These don’t just happen to you. They happen to everyone, you or me, world champion’s even very successful people.
